Zane Smith is a rising professional race car driver who is entering his third full-season in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2026. After a spectacular run to the 2022 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship in the No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford truck, Zane instantly became the top prospect to rise up to NASCAR's premier series. After a couple impressive results in a part-time Cup ride in 2022 and 2023, Zane scored two top-5 finishes as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series rookie in 2024 aboard the No. 71 Spire Motorsports car. For 2025, Zane reunited with Ford and Front Row Motorsports, returning to the No. 38 Ford and improved upon his rookie season in nearly every statistical category. Now Zane and the No. 38 team have their sights set on qualifying for the 2026 playoffs.

Front Row Motorsports Extends Smith in Multi-Year Agreement

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (October 23, 2025) – NASCAR Cup Series driver Zane Smith has signed a multi-year extension with Front Row Motorsports (FRM) to drive the No. 38 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. The 26-year-old Huntington Beach, Calif. native is finishing up his second season as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver, having earned three top-five and ten top-10 career finishes and one career pole.
